Peter R. Lloyd-Davies

Peter received his bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees in economics. He graduated in 1970, and since that time has been trying to figure out what he wants to do when he grows up. He taught finance and economics at Baruch College and the University of Rochester for some years before going to Washington DC to do research at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. In 1986, he left to become the head of the research department at the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation. After 5 years, he made the bold move to New York to work for Richard C. Trepp, doing research in the mortgage-backed securities area and learning some computer programming.

After about 10 years working with several of Rick's companies, he joined forces with two former colleagues, Bill Murray and John Lindsay, to form Madison Associates, LLC, which creates and markets the Madison System™. The Madison System™ is a browser-based application that supports the risk management of commercial real estate loan portfolios with three integrated modules, for managing closed loans in portfolio, for managing the loan production pipeline, and for loan review. (Peter is unable to resist the siren appeal of a little marketing opp!)

There are numerous advantages from working at home - now his office is off the family room, his commute is down to 12 seconds. On the other hand, he spends the whole day dangerously close to the fridge.

He loves playing with computers and listening to opera and other classical music. The combination of Peter's love of computers with his love of his family led to the creation of Views of the Monkeynut. His latest obsession is shooting his Ruger 10/22 rifle at a local range and trying to persuade his family to enjoy shooting too.

Peter R. Lloyd-Davies is currently residing in Austin with his wife Louise, and periodically their two children, Madeleine, and Toni.
